The Floweet API lets your server read this week's fuel prices and the brand ranking, fuel and EV charging stations, the SIRENE company directory with each company's estimated fleet, price a fleet's fuel and carbon overspend, and work with your organization's prospects and simulations. Built for fuel card issuers, station networks, fleet managers and their software vendors. Every example comes in curl, JavaScript and Python.
At a glance
- A JSON REST API, at
https://api.floweet.com/v1: 21 operations under 10 scopes. - One API key per organization, acting for a designated ADMIN member: it sees exactly what that member sees, with the organization's plan (authentication).
- A sandbox (
fw_test_) on the same data, where pitches are written from the template, without AI (sandbox). - Web standards: cursor pagination,
Idempotency-Key,RateLimit-*headers (120 requests a minute), errors with stable codes. - Access on request, opened by our team: contact@floweet.com. The API is in beta.
curl "https://api.floweet.com/v1/barometer?fuel=gazole" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $FLOWEET_API_KEY"Get started
- Quick startGet a sandbox key, read the fuel barometer, price a fleet's overspend and save a prospect, with curl, JavaScript or Python examples.
- Authentication and keysfw_test_ and fw_live_ keys, the Authorization Bearer header, the organization member a key acts for, revocation and authentication errors.
- Sandboxfw_test_ keys: same data, pitches written from the template without AI, 1,000 calls a day, then going live with an fw_live_ key.
- ScopesThe 10 scopes of the Floweet API (barometer:read, prospects:write…), the operations each one opens, and the 403 insufficient_scope error.
- ConventionscamelCase JSON, prices in thousandths of a euro per liter, amounts in cents, ISO 8601 dates, HTTP statuses, response headers and data sources.
Resources
- BarometerBrands ranked by average price, in France and its 13 regions, for five fuels, with or without motorway stations, recomputed every 30 minutes.
- Fuel stationsFuel stations in France and Europe: price per fuel, services, opening hours, heavy vehicle access, and the ten cheapest stations of a department.
- Charging stationsPublic charging stations from the French IRVE file: network, power, connectors, free charging, card payment and charge points, filtered by speed.
- CompaniesSearch an establishment by name, SIREN or SIRET, and read its legal unit, activity, brand network and the estimate of its vehicle fleet.
- Fleet costsA fleet's yearly overspend at the pump by vehicle type, compared with the cheapest brand, and its ETS2 carbon cost from 2028 onwards.
- ProspectsSave your prospects' fleets with their fuel and carbon overspend recomputed on this week's prices: create, read, replace and delete them.
- SimulationsSimulate your network's coverage around a client, track the sales status and write the sales pitch, with AI or from the template.
- Geocoding and routesFind the coordinates of an address (French national address base, then OpenStreetMap) and compute a road route of 2 to 25 points, distance and duration.
Protocol
- PaginationLists answer { data, nextCursor, hasMore }: how to move from one page to the next, read a whole list, and what searches return.
- IdempotencyThe Idempotency-Key header makes every POST safe to retry without duplicates for 24 hours: replays, requests in progress, reused keys and retries.
- Rate limits120 requests a minute per organization, 30 for geocoding and routes, 1,000 a day in the sandbox: RateLimit-* headers, the 429 error and Retry-After.
- ErrorsOne error shape { error: { code, message, details } }, the table of every code with its HTTP status, and when to retry a request.
- Plans and AIA key acts with its organization's plan: some modules need a higher plan (plan_required); pitches are written by AI with a live key, else from a template.
Versions
The reference, served by the API
This documentation and the reference are generated from the same contract the API validates your requests with. The reference remains available alongside:
- Interactive reference — every operation, to try in the browser (Scalar).
- OpenAPI 3.1 contract — to generate a typed client in your language.
In preparation
- Self-service developer spaceComing soon — create, name and revoke your keys, follow your usage, ask for production yourself. Today, our team does it for you, by e-mail.
- Outgoing webhooksComing soon — be told about a price change or a simulation's progress instead of polling the API.
- MCP serverComing soon — the same operations, exposed to AI assistants, with the same scopes.
- Access included in plansComing soon — open the API from your subscription, without asking, with a bundle of calls.
